It’s imperative to travel. I know that’s the second time I said it but I’m hoping people will catch on. If you follow me on social media, then you undoubtedly know that I just recently got back from a trip to Israel and Jordan.
The Middle East may not be the most obvious vacation destination but it’s incredible. Hopefully the influx of photos I posted caught your attention and you got to see the truly breathtaking sights that I did.
I was expecting this trip to be amazing, as I hope all my trips to be, but this one actually surprised me. I experienced so much history that it was awe inspiring and enlightening.
Many people ask me how I’m able to travel so much. The truth is that I make it a priority. Plain and simple.
When I’m home, I literally work 24/7. Okay, maybe more like 19/7 on any given day. I love what I do so I don’t really think of it as work but I still get to the point that I’m ready for vacation like everyone else.
I work hard non-stop, with my phone always in hand, ready to handle whatever comes along so that I can take the time to relax when I travel. What gets me excited is that I’m able to take a step back long enough to submerge myself in the culture of the places I visit.
You probably saw that I took hundreds of photos. Documenting my trips with photos is for my own memories but also for my friends and family back home. I truly want to inspire others to travel. Maybe my photos can bring the same sense of wonder that I feel as I’m experiencing it and make others want to experience it themselves.
Travel Is Not As Expensive As You Think
Many people tell me that they’d love to travel but could never afford to do so. The truth is that traveling is more affordable than most anyone thinks. The trips I’ve taken have all been taken because I found them as a deal on Groupon or Gate 1.
I travel very affordably to ensure that I can take trips as often as I do. Whether within the country or internationally, I make it a priority to go somewhere new. Just like anything else in life, if you make it a priority, you can make it happen.
Hop on Groupon right now. You can certainly find trips to at least a few dozen locations right now.
The Key is to be Open-Minded
When you are considering traveling, you have to be open-minded when looking at deals and deciding where to go. There are certain places I have visited that I probably wouldn’t have traveled to had I not come across a deal to go there.
That being said, I’m so grateful that I was open-minded enough to go. I have gained some of the best experiences of my life visiting these not so common spots. In my passport, I have stamps for Estonia, Nepal, Turkey, Thailand, Finland and Italy just to name a few.
There’s never a perfect time to travel. Life will always seem to get in the way. You have to go anyway.
I believe in making memories with my loved ones now because no matter what I make money wise, I still have my memories that no one else can take away from me. Even during the crash when I didn’t make much, I had memories of my trips.
And I always hold on to those memories to get me through to my next adventure. Right now? I’m holding out for Croatia and Italy for our first anniversary later this year. I absolutely loved Italy. Venice is so beautiful and I can’t wait to share it with Brandon!
So go plan your next adventure. Don’t wait because if you do, you truly don’t know what you’re missing out on.
P.S. If you go to Gate 1 for a deal, let me know! If you tell them I sent you, we’ll both get $25 or $50 off!
