Wrapped around the northern foothills of Pinnacle Peak and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, sits the 1,800-acre master planned community of Troon North. The community is located in the high Sonoran Desert and is right next to a 185- acre mountain preserve with massive boulders. Troon North real estate provides a variety of housing options with condominiums, townhomes, single family production homes, semi-custom and luxury custom homes. There are gated and non-gated communities that almost all have breathtaking views of the desert, mountains, and city lights. The community is East of Pima and borders Dynamite Blvd on both the north and south side. The area is part of Cave Creek School District and is served by Desert Sun Academy, Sonoran Trails Middle School and Cactus Shadows High School.
Troon North has plenty of opportunities to participate in outdoor activities, starting with three private/semi-private golf clubs (Estancia, Desert Highlands and Troon Country Club) and two public courses (Monument and Pinnacle). These golf clubhouses not only offer golf, but they offer tennis, swimming, fitness centers and dining as well. Pinnacle Peak and Brown’s Ranch Trailhead, located in the community, are just two of the many options where trails and paths can be found for hiking, biking and riding horses. The Doc Cavalliere Park provides a beautiful and serene atmosphere to play with your kids on the shaded playground, grab a game of hoops on one of the four basketball courts or play a game of fetch with your four-legged friend on the open artificial turf
There are plenty of restaurants and stores within and around Troon North, but if you want a little more of a city feeling, there are plenty of surrounding cities that are minutes away. The 101 is easily accessible and the shops/restaurants at Kierland Commons, Scottsdale Quarters, Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall and Old Town Scottsdale are all about 20 minutes away. The Scottsdale Airport is about a 20 minute drive, while the Phoenix International Airport is about a 45 min drive.
